A highly respected manager, SSOW planner and IRSE-licensed signalling professional, Ricky joined Amaro in August 2023 and quickly made a significant impact upon the team, supporting the delivery of some of our most challenging projects.

Joining Amaro has been a real eye-opener for me – the culture here is different to anything I’ve experienced before.

Amaro promotes professional development more than any other company I have worked with, or for, in the rail industry – and this applies to the whole workforce, not simply leadership and management.

About Ricky

Bringing more than 15 years of signalling expertise to the table, Ricky began his career as an IRSE Installer for Atkins back in 2008. Leaving to join RT Infrastructure Solutions in 2012, he moved swiftly through the ranks through a variety of management positions before making the move to Amaro 11 years later.

An extremely accomplished rail professional with a huge bank of Network Rail and London Underground experience, as Project Manager, he spends his time supporting our PMs in the delivery of our clients’ numerous S&T schemes.

Currently working towards his project management qualification with the APM, Ricky is also an engineering technician with the Engineering Council, A member of the IRSE, an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Professional Development, and a member of the IET.
