Amaro is a relatively young and upcoming company which is growing each year. There are always challenges in being successful and this is no less true at Amaro.

At times these challenges can appear insurmountable but with persistence we are overcoming these challenges. As a project manager there is satisfaction in meeting these challenges and contributing to the ongoing success of Amaro.

About Stewart

Whilst many people prefer to move between a number of organisations throughout their career, Stewart started his rail journey with Giffen in 1985, spending a further thirty two years with the highly-regarded electrical contractors before leaving to set up his own business in 2017.

Joining as an apprentice and qualifying as an electrician / approved electrician soon thereafter, he spent his last fourteen years at Giffen (now AmcoGiffen) as a project manager, supporting the delivery of projects such as the Network Rail FTN Project, the Thameslink Programme, and the Anglia Route SIN119 Class II Switchgear and Power Cabling project.

Making the move to Amaro in 2022, he immediately took responsibility for the firm’s SPS (Signalling Power Supplies) Wessex Outer Maintenance project, putting his experience and understanding of electrical installation, signalling power distribution, access planning (signal power limits) and technical review to good use.

An extremely popular member of the team and a huge asset to the business, Stewart’s key responsibilities within Amaro include…
