About Paul
A hugely experienced and methodical individual with more than 20 years of leadership experience, Paul started his railway journey back in 2002 following a substantial term in the military.
Since then, he’s worked for the likes of Balfour Beatty, Volker, and Thales, spending the last 10 years supporting the delivery of a whole host of complex and high profile schemes.
Managing all signalling works testing activities on schemes such as the Thameslink Resilience Project and Phase 2 of the the East Kent Resignalling Project, not to mention the recent capacity upgrade works at Gatwick Station, he now heads up Amaro’s in-house testing team, playing a pivotal role in the delivery of almost all of our clients’ signalling projects.

- The creation and management of test plans
- The creation of testing documentation
- The management of subcontractors
- The allocation and management of testing staff
- Carrying out CofC authorisation and IRSE assessing duties
