Starting his career in 1988 as a Signalling Installer at British Rail, Paul then spent seven years at Jarvis as Signalling Installer and Test Engineer before taking the next step in his career. The next two decades were spent working for a variety of high-profile signalling organisations as Senior Test Engineer, Testing and Commissioning Engineer and then Tester in Charge.
Before joining Amaro, Paul was the Tester in Charge for the Crossrail Anglia Project at Pudding Mill Lane. Previously, he also assisted Amey on the Crossrail West inner works between Paddington and Heathrow and was the Amaro Tester in Charge for the Ipswich Chord works that were awarded the Network Rail ‘Major Project of the Year’ award.
Paul re-joined Amaro in March 2018 as a Signalling Tester in Charge and has recently been promoted to the role of Testing & Commissioning Engineer.
With over 30 years’ experience in the installation, testing and commissioning of major signalling projects, Paul is a hugely valuable member of the Amaro team and a true asset, both to the Company and its clients.
