Sarah Townsley

Having always worked in challenging and high-pressure environments, Sarah began her career at BAE Systems, enrolling on their Business Apprenticeship programme, completing her degree on a part time basis whilst gaining experience from right across the organisation.

Settling into the Commercial function, she quickly worked her way up through the ranks to become a Contracts Manager, working on a wide variety of UK and international defence projects.

Having been with the business since 2016, first as Commercial Manager, then as Head of Commercial and, as of 2025, as Commercial Director, Sarah has been absolutely instrumental in helping Amaro become the success you see today.
