Retraining as an electrician after twenty years spent within the global finance sector, prior to joining Amaro Dean held a variety of positions within some of the world’s largest financial institutions.
Starting his career in banking in 1999 as a Clerical Associate for Bank of America, Dean rose to the position of Vice President Operations Manager for Foreign Exchange and Treasure across Europe, the Middle East and Africa within just four years. Following the 2008 banking crisis, he refocused to specialise in regulatory changes, typically within the control, risk, or client money sectors.
After taking a well-deserved break from banking, Dean decided to pursue a completely different career path, starting his training as an electrician during 2016.
