Dan Douglas

A highly respected rail professional, over the years he’s supervised and installed a vast quantity of cables on some of the UK’s most prominent signalling upgrades of the last 20 years, including the JNUP Project, Piccadilly Lifetime Extension and the 4LM Project.

Joining Amaro in June 2023 as a Construction Manager, his first shifts saw him supporting the delivery of our VIC 4 and 5 projects, paving the way for major signalling improvements on the routes into London’s Victoria Station. Since then, however, he’s moved sideways into the position of Stores & Fleet Manager, using his organisational skills and on-site experience to even greater effect.

• Managing plant and equipment
• Ensuring that all items are safe and compliant for use
• Maintaining vehicle fleet operations
• Developing new processes, procedural documents and reporting tools
