Six years of supporting #DefibrillatorsForSchools

Did you know that 3 young people in the UK experience a sudden cardiac arrest every single day? And that their chance of survival improves by 70% if a defibrillator is used within the first 3-5 minutes?

That’s why, earlier this week, our Stores Assistant, Emilia York, headed back to our old stomping ground of Rochester, taking replacement batteries and pads to the Pilgrim School, a primary school just a stone’s throw from our former HQ.

For 6 years now we’ve supplied and maintained a potentially life-saving defibrillator at the school in that hope that, should the worst happen, it could be the difference between life and death for a student, staff member, or visitor.

If your local school – or even your workplace – doesn’t yet have a defibrillator, that needs to change!
