SHEQ Manager, Lewis Matthews, appointed Technician Member of the IET

It’s been less than two months since he joined us but already, our brand-new SHEQ Manager, Lewis Matthews has ticked off one of his key CPD goals!

A former military engineer and a long-serving member of the Institution of Royal Engineers, he’s now officially a Technician Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology too.

A recognition of his experience within engineering, not to mention his commitment towards developing his knowledge and understanding of best practice, we couldn’t be more proud of his achievement.

Never one to stand on ceremony, in his own words “This is a positive example to the Armed Forces Community that all those transferable skills, experience and qualifications gained in our military careers are valued, respected and recognised in civvy street.”

Congratulations, Lewis!
