Amaro shines as IRSE dinner’s headline sponsor

A huge chunk of our workforce headed to York racecourse on Thursday, supporting the signalling profession and its achievements at the IRSE’s annual section dinner.

And whilst we’ve attended countless IRSE events in the past, this was the first year we’ve been headline sponsor!

Throughout a wonderful evening, jam packed with fascinating presentations, awards and networking, countless signalling professionals…

  • Heard from Network Rail’s East Coast Route Director, Paul Rutter, as he delivered a fascinating talk on the importance of designing signalling systems that factor in workforce protection
  • Witnessed our Engineering & Operations Director, John Waugh, presenting the ‘Team of the Year’ award to the Eastern ERTMS Tech Support Team
  • Caught up with a whole host of colleagues including Tony Noble, Programme Manager for Volker Rail and Craig Houston, Design Practice Director for Atkins
  • Discussed all things apprenticeships and IRSE assessment with Paul and Pam Martin from PM Training

None of these would’ve been possible, however, without hard work and dedication of our Business Relationship Manager, Sean Tiday. Thanks Sean, we’d be lost without you!
