Amaro at Network Rail’s Southern Region Winter Supplier Event

Our Commercial Director, Sarah Townsley, headed to London yesterday to attend Network Rail’s Southern Region Winter Supplier Event.

Held at NR’s stunning Puddle Dock facility, just down the road from Blackfriars Station, for yet another year on the trot this proved to be an unmissable event, with rail professionals from right across the region getting together to hear from senior figures in the rail industry.

And whilst the entire day was a roaring success, hearing from Network Rail’s Regional Managing Director, Dave Hooper, and former Performance Director for British Cycling, Sir Dave Brailsford on the importance sharing the importance and impact of marginal gains was a SERIOUS highlight!

Since Michael Ewart MSc CEng FIET FIRSE first took the reins back in 2019, the ethos of marginal (or 1%) gains has been firmly embedded in Amaro, with our ‘1% programme’ seeing 100s of small but incredibly powerful improvements being made over the years!

For anyone who hasn’t attended one of these suppliers, you really are missing out.
