Starting his career as an apprentice for a domestic electrical firm, soon after Lee moved to a commercial outfit as an Electrical Supervisor, gaining his Approved Electrician qualifications whilst working on a large and complex hotel refurbishment.
Joining Marcoe Electrical as an Approved Electrician, he was privileged to work on both the London 2012 Olympic Aquatic and Water Polo Centres, moving on to St. Bartholomew’s Hospital and, from there, to the capital’s iconic Scalpel skyscraper.
14 years into his career as an electrician, Lee’s foray into the rail industry began with Giffen Group as a Site Supervisor on the Waterloo blockade. Working up to the position of Site Manager on their Wales Points Heating Project, in June 2020 he joined Amaro, rising to become an Assistant Project Manager later that year and then Project Manager in January 2022.
