Overcoming Challenges on Network Rail’s Kent SPS Project

From pulling 1km of cable to installing a new junction box, our team delivered on time and on target.

The last few shifts on Network Rail’s Kent SPS project have been some of our most challenging of 2025.

Not just physically – although pulling 1,000+ metres of cable is no small feat! – but also logistically.

Despite extremely short possessions, however, in typical Amaro style we delivered EXACTLY as promised…

– Pulling and installing 1km of signalling power cable

– Installing a brand-new junction box

.. and returning the complete ring London End feeder back into service on time.

From the guys out on site to the resourcing and stores teams in our HQ and depots, every link in the chain played its part, working together to tick off yet another site from the client’s list.

Huge thanks and appreciation to all those involved!
