A well deserved shoutout goes out this morning to our Signalling Team Leader, Danny Abbott, who has officially received his Level 3 Award in Education and Training!

This internationally recognised qualification is the starting point for anyone delivering training to adult learners, equipping them with the skills needed to plan, deliver, and assess inclusive learning sessions, not to mention acting as a gateway to more advanced teaching qualifications.

During his training, Danny covered topics such as…

– Roles & Responsibilities
– Inclusive Approaches to Teaching
– Effective Session Planning
– Assessment & Constructive Feedback
– Accurate Record Keeping

With this new qualification under his belt, he’s now even better placed to guide and support newer or less experienced colleagues, helping them build confidence, develop their skills, and grow long and rewarding careers in the rail industry.
