John Waugh masters rigorous assessor course

Huge congratulations go out to our Engineering & Operations Director, John Waugh, on receiving a Level 3 Award in ‘Assessing Competence in the Work Environment’.

Involving 5 online sessions, multiple follow up assignments, 60h of mentor reviewed work, 2 workplace assessments of his own, and a final intensive interview, John had 3 great reasons to sit this course…

– To ensure CEM and CRE competencies carried out under NR/L2/RSE/02009 are valid

– To perform IRSE assessments for Engineering Manager licences (including Senior and Assistant)

– To add weight to staff competencies attained under our in-house PDP* scheme

Now, thanks to this highly respected and regulated qualification, he can clearly demonstrate his understanding of the principles and practises of assessment, proving his competence as an assessor, and further supporting his team towards their career goals.

Congratulations, John. Keep on leading by example!
