Emergency Response Backpack: Life-Saving Gear on the Go

Our Emergency Response Backpack, complete with trauma kits and AED, keeps lifesaving equipment close – recently featured in Network Rail’s Works Delivery Newsletter.

This backpack might seem a little bulky, but its contents could be the difference between life and death.

As anyone who’s worked on track knows, it can be a LONG walk back to the nearest access. So whilst having a defibrillator in the van is a step in the right direction, if a cardiac arrest strikes more than 2 minutes/200 metres away, your chance of survival drops… to between 5 and 10%.

Which is EXACTLY why, earlier this year, we ordered our first Emergency Response Backpack, packed full of life saving equipment including trauma, burn, and eye kits and, of course, a state of the art AED.

Whilst they’ve thankfully never been needed, our fantastic first aid day sacks have made such waves they’ve recently been featured by Network Rail Works Delivery in their latest Newsletter!
