It’s a special day here at Amaro as we celebrate John Waugh‘s 5th year with the business!
A hugely experienced signalling engineer, manager and leader, John’s railway career has spanned the best part of three decades, most of which has been spent acting as PE/PM, SPM, CEM and CRE (Signalling) on a variety of multi-discipline projects.
Joining the team as Head of Engineering back in 2021, he wasted no time in helping to transform Amaro, not just from a technical engineering perspective, but in terms of culture, training, efficiency and more.
Being promoted to Engineering & Operations Director just over 2 years later, it’s no exaggeration to say his influence has been instrumental in shaping Amaro into the business you see today.
