Celebrating Women at Amaro

Honouring women shaping Amaro’s future this International Women’s Day.

Yesterday, we joined millions of people around the world in celebrating International Women’s Day 2026.

This year’s theme, Give to Gain, is a powerful one. It speaks to something most women who’ve achieved great things know instinctively… that the act of giving – whether that’s knowledge, time, or encouragement – is never wasted. It comes back to you tenfold.

IWD is a moment to recognise those women who are making a difference, leading by example, mentoring others, and helping pave the way for the next generation of women coming through.

But we don’t believe that the contribution of women to this industry and to Amaro can be wrapped up in a single day.

Instead, over the coming weeks and months, we’ll be sitting down with women across Amaro – board members, managers, and apprentices alike – to hear their stories in their own words. Real experiences and real insight… the kind you don’t get from a single LinkedIn post.
