A firm believer in the power and value of women within the rail industry, we are delighted to announce the appointment of Racheal Lyas as our new Planning Assistant. A recent addition to the Amaro team, Rachael has long held a keen interest in the railway industry. She started as an MOD 5 Tester but very quickly developed an interest in the field of SSOW planning. Taking the initiative and noting the industry-wide shortage of skilled planners, Rachael took it upon herself to gain the necessary training and qualifications. She is now looking to qualify as a P6 Planner as soon as possible.
Working alongside more senior members of the team, Rachael shares responsibility for securing access requirements whilst following industry procedures, monitoring possessions, representing Amaro at meetings as and when required and commissioning the production of SSOW Packs under the supervision of the planning and project management teams.
We hope you will join us in congratulating Rachael on her appointment and welcoming her to the Amaro fold.
