Amaro team completes their 18858 Challenge in aid of the Railway Benefit Fund

It’s been a long time coming but, as of last week, we’ve officially reached our goal…

Our incredible team have run, swam, walked and cycled an unbelievable 18,858 miles in aid of the Railway Benefit Fund, a wonderful charity that provides support to current, former and retired railway people and their families across the UK.

From financial grants and confidential advice, to online tools and a legal helpline, the RBF provides a range of services designed to support those in need through life’s unexpected events.

A huge round of applause (and a well earned rest!) goes out to those who, come rain or shine, have been pounding the roads around their homes to support those less fortunate.

The photo depicts a group of four individuals, two men and two women, standing proudly at the Amaro exhibition booth during a conference. They are wearing business attire and lanyards, suggesting they are part of the event staff or representatives of Amaro. The booth features banners promoting the “Women in Amaro” initiative, which aims to empower diversity in the rail industry. Additional promotional materials and company branding such as “Railway Engineering Excellence” are displayed on the table and around the booth, which is located in a spacious, modern exhibition hall.

The photo captures a speaker, a Caucasian middle-aged man in a white shirt, energetically addressing an audience at a conference. Behind him, a banner for the “Women in Amaro” initiative promotes “Empowering Diversity in Rail.” The banner outlines the initiative’s goal to attract more women to the rail industry, enhancing diversity and making Amaro more inclusive. Another male attendee in the background listens intently. The setting appears to be a well-lit conference room.
