Partner of choice for some of the biggest names in rail, we're an NICEIC approved, multi-disciplinary power specialist, providing M&E and E&P expertise that adds real, measurable value to even the most challenging of projects.

A Principal Contractor Licence holder working alongside Network Rail, its Tier 1s and the wider rail sector, we support our clients throughout the full lifecycle of their schemes, embracing new technologies and methodologies whilst taking a truly collaborative approach, tailored to the unique requirements of each project.

Upgrading end-of-life systems and installing state-of-the-art equipment, our railway power experts provide a range of renewals, upgrades, and support services that help ensure the smooth operation of the UK’s rail network, boosting reliability and asset lifespans, reducing maintenance burdens, and improving passenger experiences in the process.

From survey, design, and installation, to testing, commissioning and maintenance, our NICEIC-certified operatives work across all rail-based environments, using the latest technology to provide safe, sustainable, and cost-effective power solutions fit for tomorrow’s railways.

How can we help?

From routine maintenance and station upgrades to vast, route-wide infrastructure surveys, our impeccably trained, in-house rail power team leverages decades of practical and managerial experience to deliver the best possible service, even in the most challenging of conditions.

Whilst by no means an exhaustive list, our M&E and E&P specialists can deliver…

Having partnered with Amaro to deliver the route wide Earthing and Bonding Correlation for Network Rail Anglia route, I have been impressed with their dedication and professionalism to ensure that the work is carried out to the highest standard. They promise and deliver on time and with minimum of fuss, their knowledge of rail infrastructure and working procedures were a great complement to their overall engineering know-how.

Who we are

With almost 300 years of combined and relevant experience, our railway power team is made up of M&E and E&P professionals, all of whom have been trained to – and are continually assessed against – the very highest standards. Far from working in isolation, our field staff are supported by a substantial internal management team including HSQE and compliance, resource, commercial and project managers, as well as a number of experienced SSOW and access planners.

With the well-being of all those affected by our works being of the utmost importance – not to mention the extremely hazardous nature of our sites – all rail power operatives are further backed up by our in-house safety critical and site management personnel, not to mention a robust internal training programme.
