Paige Toms awarded Personal Track Safety card

A huge round of applause is due to our Admin Assistant and Document Controller, Paige Toms, on being awarded her very first PTS (Personal Track Safety) card!

To most people this won’t seem like a big deal, but for those building a career in rail it really is, proving she has the skills and knowledge needed to work safely on or near the line.

Paige doesn’t really 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙 a PTS to carry out her job. But, since the day she joined Amaro, she’s shown a huge interest in life on site, learning as much about the business as possible, and getting a feel for exactly what our installers, testers and supervisors do on a day-to-day basis.

At Amaro, we encourage EVERYONE to walk a day in their teammates’ shoes. Whether that’s office staff getting out on track, or site staff getting to grips with life in the office, this goes a long way to removing the disconnect between field and site-based teams.

Congratulations, Paige. Here’s to a long and rewarding career in rail!
